The biggest team of GLCT collectors so far joined other charities to walk
the 3 mile route round the village of Newick in the traditional Bonfire Parade on Saturday 28th October 2017.
This unique annual event is part of village history in much of Mid and East
Sussex, and is recognised as a way for local charities to fund-raise.
Thank you to Newick Bonfire Society for the invitation, and all the hundreds
of visitors and villagers who generously donated while they enjoyed the fun of
the marching bands, bonfire societies in fancy dress and the most incredible
20 minute firework display which ended the evening.
