The Jim Green Challenge is an annual competition organised by the South of England Society for young people with learning difficulties. Golden Lion Children’s Trust have always supported the event.
This year on Weds 13th March 2019 Manor Green College, Ifield and Woodlands Meed College, Burgess Hill teams competed against seven other Colleges, all having older students. Four elements of the Challenge are prepared ahead of the competition date and four practical tasks on the day.
This year Woodlands Meed team were the Challenge Overall Winners beating off competition to win most points in identifying countryside items; planting a window box; making a hedgehog house from natural wood.
