Perhaps better named ‘A Soggy Summer Saturday!
24th August 2024 was true to the weather forecast … very windy and wet for most of the day.
But the rain didn’t deter the Golden Lion Children’s Trust
The balloons and lollies on offer soon produced smiles
Some games of skill called for family efforts and concentration …
… and some games didn’t.
Throughout the day there were plenty of displays and opportunities to witness the skills of the fire-fighters
… or find a balloon before the stalls packed up… and then the sun began to shine at last!
Thank you everyone at Haywards Heath Fire Station who made GLCT welcome, helped to set up (and pack up!)
and especially thank you to the visitors who braved the rain and supported our charity stall.
