Being showered with confetti was not what Lorraine Tippett expected when she picked a token at Tesco Express, Pembroke Park, Crawley on 23rd September 2023.
But she’d found the gold token in the Tesco ‘Stronger Starts’ scheme.
Faced with a shortlist of three choices Lorraine knew instantly that she wanted the £5000 award to go Manor Green Primary School, Ifield – a school she regularly helps Golden Lion Children’s Trust to support in various ways.
