Much to do on Saturday 22nd July 2023 at Worthing Fire Station before the crowds arrived
but GLCT were ready
to sell books, games and balloons when, as usual, some were early
Visitors walked through to watch one of the drills in the Fire Station yard.
Then it was the turn of the children
to try their skills using a hose
before finding a balloon to take home.
The rain forecast arrived as if on cue, and in came the drummers to continue to entertain the crowds sheltering from the weather
But the rain didn’t spoil this prize winner’s delight at successfully ‘Naming the Bear’ in the GLCT competition.
