Pupils from Manor Green College, Ifield chose to visit Amberley Museum with GLCT on 23rd May 2024, so their trip coincided with school Science Week.
GLCT arranged the day for the students with a chance to ride on the narrow-gauge railway;
or ride in one of the historic buses (and receive a bus ticket each!);
or spend time looking at rural crafts or communication displays – so much to see and try in the hands-on experiments.
The sunshine helped as classes walked to the TV & Radio Exhibition;
along the nature trail
looked round the Electricity Hall,
BT Connected Earth or the Railway Exhibition.
Many interesting displays and so many comments from pupils that they wanted to repeat the visit.
