12 families with the Golden Lion Children’s Trust laughed, clapped and cheered their way through
the first night of a new production of this amazing show at the Hawth Theatre, Crawley on 20th August 2024.
Adam Garcia as Caractacus Potts and Liam Fox as Grandpa Potts were amazing.
Charlie Brooks as the Childcatcher was really menacing. The children booed her as loudly as any other group in the theatre!
The choreography, costumes and technical wizardry were stunning.
“How does that car fly?” was a constant question from the children as they left the theatre.
For families with the GLCT it was the first time most had ever been to the theatre.
Judging by their reactions to this ‘Truly Scrumptious’ show it won’t be their last!
