Important Governance and Contact Update
The Trustees of the Golden Lion Children’s Trust wish to clarify the current arrangements for the administration and management of the charity.
Following recent changes to the Trust’s governance and management arrangements, all official GLCT business is now conducted under the authority of the current Board of Trustees.
At present, the Board has not authorised any former trustee, former officer, volunteer, contractor or other individual outside the current Board of Trustees to organise activities, make arrangements, give instructions, make commitments or otherwise act on behalf of the Golden Lion Children’s Trust.
All enquiries, event arrangements, applications, offers of support and other matters relating to GLCT should therefore be made through the charity’s official contact channels shown on this website. This includes communications relating to forthcoming GLCT events and activities.
Any communication concerning GLCT received from an individual who is not a current Trustee should not be treated as an authorised communication from the charity unless its authority has first been confirmed directly by the Board.
The Trustees have issued this clarification to ensure that our supporters, beneficiaries, schools, partner organisations and volunteers know how to contact the Trust and can be confident that they are dealing with an authorised representative of the charity.
