At the Golden Lion Children’s Trust’s 2026 Annual General Meeting, trustees confirmed a number of changes to the Board as part of the Trust’s ongoing governance and development work.
Steve Cooley was elected Chair and Simon Head was elected Vice Chair. Duncan Mackay and Leanne Collingwood joined the Board as trustees, adding further experience and capacity to the charity.
Lindsey Biss subsequently took on the role of Treasurer, completing the Trust’s current leadership team.
Looking ahead
The trustees are continuing work on governance, strategy and the Trust’s future development, while protecting the community spirit and British Caledonian heritage that have shaped GLCT since 1973.
The Trust will publish further governance information, including its updated constitution, once the relevant approval process is complete.
