Visitors to K2 on the afternoons of 25th, 26th & 27th March were surprised to see GLCT running a stall with a game for children to win a chocolate egg (or several!) or to skip away with a balloon.
This egg-citing opportunity for the charity was thanks to the Everyone Active team liaising with the leisure centre bosses.
As well as a chance to chat to people about the work of the GLCT it was a chance to catch up with several ‘old friends’ as well as people who knew the charity in the early days through working at Gatwick, and who were surprised to learn the charity continues today.
In addition the K2 team had advertised for people to donate Easter eggs in the week leading up to Easter.
GLCT delivered these special treats to a Crawley school for staff to distribute to nominated families.
