3rd November 2018 was the evening that ten GLCT supporters armed with collection buckets walked three miles round Newick village, taking part in the traditional Newick Bonfire Parade, which precedes the spectacular fireworks display and lighting of the enormous bonfire on the green.
This year of all charities taking part, GLCT had the largest number of helpers and managed to collect more money than any other. This traditional event in the SE corner of Sussex is known as a charity evening, so huge thanks are owed to those hard-working ten!! For more details and facts about the history www.newickbonfire.com
