This very special show is always so popular with GLCT groups, especially with children who live in urban areas.
Classes from Grove Park, Crowborough; New Barn, Broadbridge Heath and Woodlands Meed, Burgess Hill enjoyed their visit this year.
There is so much on offer –
Animals to meet …
even if you aren’t sure!
… things to see
… and things to do & make
There are people to talk to …
… things to watch
… and time to have fun …
Terraforming Mars – A ‘Growing in Containers’ competition run by South of England Society for schools to take part in, with the theme ‘Water Wise’.
Inspired by Curiosity Rover images New Barn School pupils designed a Mars landscape transformed with succulents, to contrast with the harsh environment on Mars. Tin foil represents space vehicles.
“The first planting on Mars would need careful water usage as resources would be limited.”
Congratulations New Barn pupils on winning second prize!!
And thank you SEAS for always making Golden Lion Children’s Trust groups so welcome at the show.
