Taking children with special needs to the home of English opera was a first for the Golden Lion Children’s Trust today.
Pupils from Manor Green Primary School, Ifield enjoyed a performance of ‘Captain Blood’s Revenge’, an opera written for children, at Glyndebourne today Thursday 28th Nov 2013.
From finding pirates sleeping on various seats as we entered the studio to meeting cast members after the show, the visit brought a morning of musical theatre alive for the children.
One adult commented “If this is opera for children then bring it on!!”
